Features :

This is a brand new Array DC Electronic Load with maximum input power up to 300W. It has a wide input range of 0-360V, 0-30A, 0-300W.

NOTE: This instrument does not operate in Constant Voltage mode. It supports Constant Current, Constant Power, and Constant Resistance measurements.

NOTE: The native interface for this instrument is RS232. USB is implemented using an external adapter. This item includes the USB external adapter.

Description

The Array 3711A Programmable DC Electronic Load is a high performance programmable bench-top device used to test various DC power sources. It is easy to control from the front panel or via the USB port from a PC.

You can create programs to precisely control the load values and durations of every step in a test sequence. As many as 9 programs of up to 10 steps each can be stored in the unit.

Front panel user interface and menu options are straight-forward to use, with all common functions available with just a few key presses. Finding your way around the unit takes about 10 minutes if you are familiar with the operation of this kind of equipment.

We have found good reliability and very good stability under heavy load. Thermal management is good and cooling adequate for long load trials. Over-protection is comprehensive and works well under any operating mode.

All round the 3711A is a useful, reliable, and functional measurement instrument at a very affordable cost for a USB interfaced instrument.
